John T. Andrews, CPA, MST, is a principal at Solar &
Kilcoyne, PC. John is a certified public accountant with over 20 years of
public accounting experience. His areas of professional concentration
include income tax and financial planning for individuals, closely held
businesses, partnerships, estates and trusts. He also has extensive
experience in business continuation planning and valuation of closely held
businesses for estate, gift, divorce, sale and acquisition purposes.
Additionally, John has extensive experience in dealing with tax litigation
matters with both federal and state agencies.
John received his BS in business administration from
Clark University and a Masters Degree in Taxation (MST) from Bentley
College. John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the
Estate and Business Planning Council of Worcester County and the Worcester
Economics Club.
John is currently serving on the
Board of Directors and as Chair of Finance for the Montachusett Girl Scout Council. He has
served as Treasurer of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and on the Executive
Committee of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Worcester County.
John was also an adjunct professor at Fisher College of Boston and continues
to speak on a regular basis regarding tax planning and employee benefit
plans. John also coaches Little League and youth basketball and serves as a
Cub Scout leader in Hubbardston.
John received the Certificate of Achievement
Award from the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants
for passing the National Uniform Certified Public Accountants
Examination on the first sitting. He has also completed the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants Educational Achievement
Program in personal financial planning. |
